KEDM at ΟγΈΫΑωΊΟ²ΚΏͺ½±Φ±²₯ to host Policy and a Pint Tuesday

At 5 p.m., on Tuesday, July 28, KEDM Public Radio will host β€œPolicy and a Pint” at Fat Pelican Restaurant in Monroe. Panel members will discuss efforts towards historic preservation of local buildings and sites. The event is free and open to the public.

The β€œPolicy and a Pint” series is designed to provide access to experts on community issues in a casual setting. The public is encouraged to participate with questions and comments during the event.

KEDM News Director Bob Lenox will moderate a panel of experts including Cooley House Foundation President Cookie Cookston, businesswoman and developer Melody Olson, and City of Monroe Planning and Zoning Director Joanne Poret.

The panelists will provide insight on historic sites and preservation efforts in local communities.
