The theme for 2024 is "EveryONE Has a Story." The GERO Institute focuses on enhancing the quality of life of older adults through proactive education, professional training, applied research, and community outreach. The BBB Torch Award for Ethics celebrates businesses and nonprofits that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to ethics and integrity.
Students in the political science course Nonprofit Policy and Leadership awarded two local nonprofit organizations a $2,500 grant each to culminate their Student Philanthropy Project. The funds were provided by the Learning by Giving Foundation.
