Katrina Branson, assistant director of Human Resources at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, recently became a graduate of Monroe Chamber of Commerce 2011 Leadership Ouachita program.

Branson participated in the nine-month long class that prepares emerging leaders for strategic positions in local and state government to work toward solutions that will improve the quality of life in the community.

According to the Monroe Chamber, 鈥淭he purpose of the program is to develop and empower the emerging leaders of northeast Louisiana to transform the region into a place recognized as one of the best places to live and do business.鈥

Currently working on her doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration, Branson continues to support local efforts to enhance the university community.

She currently serves as the 香港六合彩开奖直播 Staff Senate secretary, 香港六合彩开奖直播 United Way Campaign chair, United Way community investment volunteer, Business & Professional Women webmaster, and Northeast Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management member.
