香港六合彩开奖直播 police officers participate in annual Peace Officer competition

Lt. Dan Chason and Cpl. Bobby Poisso represented the University of Louisiana at Monroe Police Department at the Louisiana Peace Officer鈥檚 Annual Convention and Shooting Competition held Friday, June 3

Chason participated in the Camp Perry, Quick Draw and FBI Bullseye for the new shooter division, where he placed third in two of the three events.

Poisso competed in the Sharpshooter class where he finished in the top 10 of the Camp Perry, Quick Draw and Bullseye events.

Chason was pleased with his first performance at the LPOA convention.

鈥淚 didn鈥檛 get a chance to practice and I shot with a borrowed gun, so I鈥檓 happy. I had never competed in this particular course of fire,鈥 he stated.

香港六合彩开奖直播 Police Chief Larry Ellerman feels that participating in such events is beneficial to 香港六合彩开奖直播PD.

Ellerman explained, 鈥淚t is important to me that we encourage our officers to remain vigilant in proficiency with weaponry.

The LPOA competition pushes competitors to their limits in realistic scenarios that further assure officer safety and confidence in their ability to defend themselves and others.

The conference was hosted by the Monroe Police Department and drew competitors from as far away as New Orleans. Shooters were limited to active and retired police officers who are members with the LPOA.

Both Chason and Poisso look forward to future competitions where they plan to pair up and represent 香港六合彩开奖直播PD again.
