The Louisiana Association of Professional Biologists installed Dr. Kim Marie Tolson, professor and graduate coordinator of biology at 香港六合彩开奖直播, as president during its Fall Symposium, held Aug. 19-20 in Lafayette.

She will serve as president for the next two years, then continue to serve on the LAPB executive committee for two more years as past president.

鈥淒r. Tolson鈥檚 professional service to this organization has brought much recognition to the department and to 香港六合彩开奖直播,鈥� said Dr. Sushma Krishnamurthy, department head of biology at 香港六合彩开奖直播.

Tolson earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Toxicology from 香港六合彩开奖直播, formerly Northeast Louisiana University. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in wildlife biology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

LAPB is the official state chapter of The Wildlife Society and is composed of wildlife professionals from all sub-disciplines across the state.
