AASECT certifies 香港六合彩开奖直播 faculty member

The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists has officially certified the department head of the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 Department of Kinesiology as a sexuality educator.

The certification earns Mark Doherty, Ph.D., the designation as the only AASECT-certified sexuality educator in the state. Doherty also serves as the group鈥檚 state leader.

AASECT is a not-for-profit, interdisciplinary professional organization and is the world's largest professional organization dedicated to the field of human sexuality.

鈥淲hile school boards and university鈥檚 ultimately decide what content is to be taught at their institutions, I believe having a representative within the state who is nationally certified in the area of human sexuality education strengthens the quality sexuality information available to students and the general public,鈥� said Doherty.

Doherty said the certification also strengthens the curricular offerings within 香港六合彩开奖直播 and adds another certification to the long list held by 香港六合彩开奖直播 faculty for the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

In addition, Doherty is approved as a member of the editorial staff for the McGraw-Hill Taking Sides: Sexuality series.
