The 香港六合彩开奖直播 College of Education and Human Development is hosting a one-day conference, "Internet Safety," March 29, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Strauss Hall auditorium.

IT specialists from 香港六合彩开奖直播, Microsoft, Apple Computers and the Attorney General's office will teach educators, parents and community leaders about safety on the Internet.

After attending a workshop last fall on Internet predators, Thilla Sivakumaran and teacher education candidates from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction wanted to relay what they had learned. "We really thought it would be a good idea to hold a conference at 香港六合彩开奖直播 to make teachers, students and faculty aware of the dangers of Internet usage and provide some helpful suggestions," he said.

Curriculum and instruction teacher education candidates Marissa Boyd, Derrick Miles and masters student Carlen Howell have been instrumental in planning and organizing the conference under Sivakumaran鈥檚 guidance.

The conference is free and open to the general public. Those interested in attending need to register before the conference.
